The Mesmerising Indonesia

One of the most wonderful and beautiful destinations around the world, Our advice is to visit Indonesia at least once in your lifetime as this land will completely shift your perspective on the world. Its historical heritage, artwork, magnificent nature and spiritual temples   are just a few of advantages the land has to offer. Here is a list of things to do in Indonesia in our opinion, although you will most likely never ask yourself what to do in Indonesia even without our support.


Visit Bali

In all honesty, you could simply take a holiday and go to Bali as it is the best representation of the whole country. It has jungles. It has insanely nice beaches. Beaches which are crowded by tourists, Beaches which are completely virgin but all of them have crystal clear water and could provide the perfect environment to enjoy you. If you are sick and tired of the beaches, you could take a trip into the mountains, visit religious temples or go to the volcano. It is one of the few active volcanoes on the planet, however, don’t worry too much. It is too small to do any major damage to the area. In all honesty, Bali is the biggest reason you should visit Indonesia.


Budu is considered as the heart of Bali as it is close to the airport as well as the mountains and the holiday resorts. It is also the traditional home of local royal families which makes it a cultural centre.


Gili Islands

Have you ever thought about how would an island look like if it was left untouched by our human race? Even though the Gili islands have become a popular tourist destination since the eighties of the previous century, the nature has been untouched, and you could enjoy the beautiful white beaches with crystal clear water and the respective marine life.  It is a place which suits the needs of both people who enjoy the intense night life, with a large variety of different clubs, as well as those who went there to simply relax.


The islands are considered as the turtle capital of the world and are also one of the best places on the planet to dive. Worry not if you are not experienced in the activity, as you could easily take a course and dive with the marine life in no time.


Borobudur Temple

Aren’t there more cultural things to do in Indonesia though? Of course, there are. The Borobudur Temple is the most famous tourist attraction in the country, and is also the biggest Buddhist monument on the entire planet. It has been built somewhere around the 8th or 9th century and it is a huge structure in the form of a pyramid. It is an architectural miracle, and it does beg the question of how were they able to build that, so long ago? The structure is protected by UNESCO since 1983. Hire a guide and take the trip to get the most out of the experience.
